Underwood is located in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. It is strategically placed between Fergus Falls and Battle Lake on Minnesota State Highway 210. The mill closed shop in 1939 due to immense competition from electric and gasoline mills. In late 1965 Otter Tail County acquired the mill and turned it into a recreational site. Today, it stands as one of the most iconic landmarks in Underwood. Other amenities in the park include kids play areas, picnic tables, two picnic shelters ideal for weddings and family reunions.
